Morgan Lovell in Sunday Times Best Green Companies 2011

Morgan Lovell, the company which designs and builds sustainable office interiors, has been recognised as one of the UK’s top 25 Best Green Companies in The Sunday Times awards, published on 12 June 2011, ranking 23rd overall.
Morgan Lovell was chosen because of its holistic approach to sustainability, which focuses on reducing its own environmental impact and that of its clients, through green office design. This commitment resulted in Morgan Lovell being the first company in the country to be awarded the BS EN 16001 energy management system last year, an achievement recognised by The Sunday Times which awarded Morgan Lovell third place in the category of small to medium-sized companies with high or medium environmental impacts.
Morgan Lovell’s employees were also awarded for their contributions and achievements, being ranked as the seventh greenest employees in the country.
“Being recognised as one of the country’s greenest companies is a testament to the hard work staff have put in over the last year in making Morgan Lovell more sustainable,” says Andrew Bradley, managing director of Morgan Lovell. “It also reinforces our commitment to helping clients save energy and meet their carbon reduction commitments through green office design and refurbishment.”
The Sunday Times competition is designed to encourage and acknowledge businesses and other organisations that are striving to improve their environmental performance. Using a methodology devised by The Sunday Times in collaboration with Bureau Veritas, the international firm of environmental consultants, and Munro Global, the leading market research company, the best green companies had to score well in two separate surveys to make the top 60 firms included in The Sunday Times Green List. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/related_reports/best_green_companies
