Press release

Published on 06.01.2009

How to achieve cost effective office relocation and refurbishment projects in the downturn is explored in a new seminar from Morgan Lovell.

‘Office Interiors - A Better Way,’ has been organised by the leading workplace interior design, fit out and refurbishment specialist, at their London headquarters, in Noel Street, Soho.

The seminar will look at the concept of ‘design and build’ - the time and money saving method to create office interiors.

Morgan Lovell’s project director, Ed Howden, will take delegates through the steps and benefits of design and build, showing how the process can control cost and quality.

Then Peter Hudson, site controller for ITV, will present a case study on how the media giant embraced design and build to refurbish their 200,000 square foot London office portfolio, in record time and on budget.

Starting at 08:30 am the seminar takes place on Wednesday, January 28, and finishes at 10.30am.

Andrew Bradley, managing director of Morgan Lovell, said: “Proven to be cheaper and faster for construction projects, more companies are adopting design and build as a way to save money and keep control of budgets and quality.”

The seminar is the latest from Morgan Lovell, which in 2008 held a series of popular events covering topics including the sustainable workplace and office relocation.

Morgan Lovell also offers a free office relocation checklist - a step-by-step guide to managing the complexities of business relocations - available for free download office relocation checklist
