Green office design and refurbishment company Morgan Lovell is hosting a new seminar exploring how technology and innovation can produce energy savings to deliver a more sustainable workplace.
The Green Intelligent Office takes place on Wednesday, 7 July, 2010, between 8:30am and 10:30am, at The Pinnacle Building, Station Way, in Crawley, West Sussex.
Attendees can get up to speed with the latest developments, with an update briefing focused on recent trends, legislation and regulations in workplace energy reduction.
Registration to the seminar is free at www.morganlovell.com/events, but spaces are limited.
The event also includes two live demonstrations. The first features the Wireless Smart Metering and Footprint Tracker, a unique energy management solution that uses the internet to collect and display a building’s energy use in kilowatt hours, carbon and cost.
The second looks at the Resource Scheduler - an innovative meeting room booking program, which connects to heating and air conditioning systems to significantly reduce energy bills.
Andrew Bradley, managing director of Morgan Lovell, said: “Technology now plays a crucial role in the ‘greening’ of office buildings.
“With the myriad of products on the market designed to monitor, measure and help reduce energy usage in the office, it is hard to know which to trial, test or take on.
“This seminar will give delegates the latest news and information relating to energy-saving issues and technologies for the workplace, in a clear and factual manner.”
