Sophie Hutchinson to chair session at Ecobuild 2012
Press release
Published on 06.12.2011
Morgan Lovell’s sustainability manager, Sophie Hutchinson has been invited to chair, as well as take part in, the LEED, BREEAM and Ska: Which Standard and When? session at the 2012 Ecobuild conference at London’s ExCel.
Environmental rating systems are becoming increasingly useful when it comes to setting environmental and energy efficiency standards for office refurbishments. But the question often asked is ‘which one should I choose?’
This session sets out to clarify the situation and features speakers representing each rating system. The speakers will explain the difference between each system, using case studies and evidence to illustrate how they can each be relevant, and advising on how to select the most appropriate system for different projects.
Sophie Hutchinson will open the session with her presentation ‘Rating Systems and their Relevance to the Refurbishment of Non-domestic Buildings’, and will chair the discussion and short Q&A.
The LEED, BREEAM and Ska: Which Standard and When? session takes place on Wednesday 21 March from 10.30am - 12.00pm at London’s ExCel and is part of the Refurbishing Britain programme; a series of seminars that look at the challenge posed by refurbishment, best practice and options for large scale roll out.
