Morgan Lovell named in FT Top 50 Best Workplaces

In an FT Special Report, office workplace specialist Morgan Lovell, which has offices in London, Wokingham and a new Birmingham office due to open in June, has been named in the Financial Times top 50 "Best Workplaces" in the UK for 2004.

The surveys on which the rankings are based ask staff for their views on a number of criteria including their employer's approach, office environment and facilities as well as general moral. Not only does this give an accurate picture of the corporate culture but also the life of an employee. Any organisation with more than 50 employees, whether publicly quoted, private, non-profit or government agency, was eligible to take part in the survey, which also included detailed questioning of the organisations themselves on HR policies, workplace practices, work-life balance, philosophy and company culture.

Published today (28 April), The FT Best Workplaces Special Report lists both the UK's top 50 and Europe's 100 best places to work. It also looks at issues such as salaries and remuneration, staff retention, representation and the impact of a satisfied workforce on company performance.
