After more than five years working in the Bristol market, the country's leading office transformation specialist Morgan Lovell today announced the opening of a new office serving the South West region and South Wales.

With successful projects for companies such as Kleeneze and Allied Domecq already completed, Morgan Lovell is proving that there is a strong local market for its workplace design, build and consultancy services.

Derek Jones, managing director of Morgan Lovell's southern region, said: "Bristol is an incredibly exciting city right now, with huge potential for further growth. Busy, expanding or relocating companies will be looking for the best and most hassle-free ways to transform their office environments to optimise productivity. Our unique approach, where we look after everything while providing one single point of contact, is designed to offer just that. It's been phenomenally successful across the rest of the UK and we're looking forward to working with companies in Bristol and the South West."

New, independent research commissioned by Morgan Lovell demonstrates the importance of the working environment to businesses and their employees across the South West. According to the survey, 25% of office staff in the region admitted they have considered leaving a job or taking time off work because of their workplace, more than anywhere else in the country. Three in every ten employees cited "poor office layout" as a major stress factor at work, nearly twice the national average (16%), and only 4% of those surveyed in the South West region said they felt proud to bring clients and business contacts to the office, which is under half of the UK average (9%).

Morgan Lovell believes that the survey, of over 2,000 office-based employees in full time employment across a range of sectors of British business, demonstrates the importance of the workplace when it comes to commercial success.

Mr Jones added: "We recognise that success in the Bristol market requires knowledge, commitment and a long-term approach. Our experts have an established track-record in the region and we have entered into a five-year lease on our new premises. This will be a long-term drive for success in the region."
