Case Study: Rackspace

Rackspace wanted to make their new HQ in Uxbridge an exciting and modern environment that their staff would look forward to working in – even on Monday mornings.

So, we set about making their office as varied and interesting as possible. We arranged the desks in random clusters to prevent the space looking uniform, and we didn’t just give them one break out area, we gave them lots. Each one has a personality, like ‘noisy’, ‘quiet’ and ‘eat’, so that employees can relax in whatever way they choose. And there’s also a games room – the envy of all visitors!

Staff are so proud of their new workplace that they have been bringing friends and family to look round at the weekend. And, although Rackspace’s new office looks laid-back, employees have told us through client satisfaction questionnaires, that the new environment is actually very conducive to hard work.
