A new £1 million government initiative has been unveiled to refurbish and develop Keighley Central Hall in Bradford.
The Yorkshire Post has reported that the run-down building has been the recipient of a grant from the Office of the Third Sector to redevelop the structure into a new, vibrant office interior space for charities in the Bradford area.
Councillor Kris Hopkins, Bradford council leader, said: "It is envisaged that the project will not only contribute towards the regeneration of Keighley but assist in promoting and developing strong partnership working between the council and voluntary and community organisations."
Elsewhere in the region, office design and rental company Bruntwood has announced that Gatenby Sanderson and Charles Stanley & Co have each taken up residence at the company's Leeds development in recent weeks.
In total, the two firms have taken out 8,300 sq ft of office interiors at 14 King Street, in Leeds city centre.
