A new £20 million modern office design project has been earmarked for Nottingham city centre.
Situated on the site of the old Boots store on Wilford Road, the 0.46-acre site has been granted planning consent for the construction of a new modern office interior building which once completed will offer 100,000 sq ft of office interior space.
Development firm Wilson Bowden purchased the site from Boots Alliance in February and is now in a position to get work underway.
Robert Grafton, Wilson Bowden development director, told This is Nottingham: "We are at an exciting stage of the development process and are keen to see the project come to fruition. We hope to be on site very soon."
Meanwhile, recruitment company Business Connection recently announced the opening of its fourth office building.
Situated in Salford Quays, Manchester, the company plans to use the new office to help out of work individuals in the area find employment.
