Office space in Selby is to be created as part of a major regeneration project which is taking place in the town.
The BOCM Olympia Park development is set to see £300 million spent on warehouse and office space, a retail development and a new pub, while room will be left so that shops and a hotel can later be added.
MP Nigel Adams stated that BOCM Pauls' will hopefully work in tandem with another major scheme which is set to take place in Selby, reports the Press.
Belgian group VPK Packaging, which is the owner of firms Rigid Containers and Rigid Paper, has revealed it is to spend £100 million on a waterside visitor attraction with shops, apartments, leisure businesses and a marina.
"It could prove to be a much needed shot in the arm for Selby," Mr Adams said.
This comes shortly after Charles Booth, one of the brothers behind the Old Corn Mill project in Penistone, told BBC News there is room in the market for sustainable office design.
