Allied London is in advanced talks with European fund manager Aerium for the sale of its offices at 3 Hardman Street at Spinningfields in Manchester.
Headed by Morgan Ingell, Aerium is believed to have tabled a bid of between £165million and £185 million for the modern office design property. However, Allied London is yet to give a formal response on whether it accepts the deal.
The company stated it may hold a formal auction for the property in the near future in a bid to increase interest and achieve a higher price.
Among the tenants at 3 Hardman Street are Bank of New York Mellon, the General Medical Council, Pinsent Masons, Baker Tilly, BDO Stoy Hayward, Barclays and Shoosmiths.
Elsewhere, broadcast systems company TSL recently announced plans for the creation of a new headquarters at the site of a former pie factory in Salford.
