Avanta acquires offices in Manchester
06-08-2008
Serviced office designer Avanta has purchased a number of buildings in Manchester's town centre and plans to convert them into office layouts. The company will transform 56 to 58 Dale Street into commercial offices and the 42,250 sq ft building is set to house a number of businesses once completed.
It is expected to cost the firm around £4 million and could spark the company's move into the Manchester development scene, as it has previously worked more predominantly in the London area.
However, this development points to signs that the company feels the market will rally once again in the not too distant future.
This new project adds to Avanta's other properties in Manchester which includes 3 China Lane and the Royal Mills site in Ancoats.
Furthermore, the company noted that developments in the north of England are likely to become more attractive to businesses during the economic downturn as fewer people will be able to afford the inflated costs of premises in London.
