Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is on the lookout for a development partner to help create new office space in Hampshire in the coming months.
Overall, the council hopes to deliver an additional 640,000 sq ft of office interiors as part of the proposed action, with interested parties invited to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire by December 9th.
Six sites across Basingstoke have been earmarked for development, including City Wall House, Loddon House and No 1 Basing View.
In total, the council has set aside £10 million for the proposed scheme and Simon Hope, strategic project manager at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, claimed this project is a "number one priority".
Meanwhile, international phone directory provider Yell recently announced it has moved into new premises in nearby Reading.
Simon Taylor, head of property at Yell in the UK, said: "We needed to move for several reasons: we had outgrown the original building, we'd gone from having a few hundred staff to 1,500 and we were in four buildings, which wasn't working very well."
