A new business centre costing £3 million has been opened in Belfast.
Office industry news source Choregus has reported that Sketrick House in Newtownards, Belfast is now ready to receive new tenants following its completion by the development firm Ards Business Centre.
It offers 20,000 sq ft of grade A office interiors to clients and has units for up to 30 businesses on site.
Local businesses councillor Angus Carson commented that a lack of suitable office accomodation in the city had been putting off some businesses from relocating to the area; however, he noted that this development would go some way to rectifying this.
Meanwhile, Builder & Engineer Online recently reported that the U2 Tower in Dublin has been put on hold due to difficulties in securing financing for the project.
The 120m structure situated on the south bank of the River Liffey has been put in jeopardy due to ongoing turmoil in financial markets.
When completed the tower is expected to have cost 250 million (£210.4 million) and will house a private recording studio at its peak for the band U2.
