Birmingham office interior uptake falls
Office design news from Morgan Lovell

The office market in Birmingham contracted slightly during 2009, according to figure from King Sturge.
Data compiled by the company showed office interior uptake across the city totalled 657,280 sq ft - down from the previous year's 959,307 sq ft.
The firm noted these levels were similar to those seen in 2007, with 110 separate deals taking place across the city over the last 12 months.
Jonathan Carmalt, partner in King Sturge's Birmingham office, said the take-up for the whole year "was a far better outcome than most had predicted at the outset".
Elsewhere in the region, the Birmingham Post recently reported BT has announced plans to move to new office space in West Bromwich.
The move forms part of BT's Transform Sandwell partnership - which it is currently engaged in with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council - and will see the company to take on 75,000 sq ft of office space at All Saints office development.
