Office construction work in Birmingham has been given the green light by local planning officials.
The creation of a new office development, hotel and casino form part of a £15 million project that will transform 2.5 acres of land in the city centre.
In total, the scheme will create 5,382 sq ft of new grade A office interior space, as well as 24,000 sq ft of casino and gambling areas.
Senior development surveyor for the firm behind the scheme Ian Romano said: "We believe that this development will stimulate further regeneration on the site which will attract further inward investment benefiting both the immediate location and the wider region."
Elsewhere in the city, Kings Norton Business Centre recently announced it had beaten its target for lettings in 2010.
The development took on ten new tenants during the course of the year, bringing the number of companies using the facilities of the business park to more than 80.
