Blackburn Rovers business centre opens

A new office layout has been created within the grounds of a Premiership football club, it has been revealed.

Based at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park, the Blackburn Rovers Enterprise Centre has seen unused space underneath the club's Darwen End stand be converted into a contemporary office design.

The office interiors of the centre will be able to accommodate up to 24 firms, the Lancashire Telegraph reports.

Chris Hibbert and Dan Green, owners of aquarium sales firm Aqualease, are one of the first to set up business in the new office layout.

Mr Hibbert said: "We are both from Blackburn and we had looked at a few office spaces but we could not find anything that was reasonably priced.

"It's hard to find a space that is the right size for our business and this worked out really well."

He added that the office layout is available to rent on a month-by-month basis.

Overall the centre is worth £1 million.

In February, it was revealed that The Green - a sustainable office design project - by Time & Tide Commercial is to be constructed in Lancaster.
