Barlow Lyde & Gilbert (BLG) has announced an office relocation project to new premises in Manchester.
The law firm has taken on 7,800 sq ft of modern office design space at Chancery Place on Brown Street.
Employees at the Chancery Place office will initially focus on employers', public and motor liability claims, although the firm has plans to expand the office if all goes well in the months ahead.
Sarah Darch, business development manager for the financial and professional services sector at Midas, said: "As the leading UK legal centre outside of London, we're seeing more and more specialist firms like BLG look to Manchester as a viable base from which to serve their existing customers and tap into new client markets."
Meanwhile, the Equalities and Human Rights Commission recently announced it is looking into the possibility of moving to new modern office design space at Piccadilly Place in Manchester.
