Plans to regenerate office interior stock in Bristol have been put to locals to find out if there is support for the initiative.
Bristol City Council has set up a public consultation to determine whether there is support for the redevelopment of up to 1.7 million sq ft of office interiors currently lying unoccupied on "ghost streets" in the city.
Cabinet member for strategic housing and regeneration councillor Anthony Negus said: "We've got to restore and regenerate and come up with some great ideas ... Some of them may have to have a much more radical solution but the most important thing is to get life back into them."
Elsewhere in the city, Orega recently announced it plans to open a new serviced office centre at 10 Victoria Street by the end of November.
The firm has taken on 27,000 sq ft of office interior space on a ten-year lease at the building from owner Deeley Freed Estates.
