Broxbourne announces new office layouts

Following a major office fitting, seven new light industrial units including office space will now be opening in the borough of Broxbourne from August 2008, it has been announced.The council explains that the new offices make up the fourth phase of Hoddesdon Industrial Centre, the development of which is aimed at encouraging new businesses into the area.
The office fitout represents £2.9 million worth of investment by the council.
New units are being built by contractors May Gurney, with each measuring between 2,317 and 3,538 square feet. Each unit has an office fit out furnished with office equipment and appropriate disabled access.
The units also boast a sustainable office design, with energy efficient fittings designed to reduce carbon emissions by at least 40 per cent.
Recently, the council also announced the opening of a new community building at Holdbrook primary school in Waltham Cross. The community hall is part of a wider regeneration project for Holdbrook estate,to encourage greater investment in the area.
