Commercial property developer Bruntwood has announced the purchase of two developments in the north-west.
The firm has taken over Sale Point in Sale and premises at Manchester's MediaCityUK. The firm has already let 16,357 sq ft of modern office design space at the Sale site to debt management company Harrington Brooks, while housing charity Trafford Housing Trust has also taken 21,110 sq ft at the premises.
Bruntwood is a privately owned commercial property group with more than 90 offices spread over four cities - Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham.
Last year, the firm reported a 9.5 per cent increase in profit before tax at £12.6 million and a rise in turnover of 11.55 per cent to £97 million.
It presently controls fixed assets to the tune of £912 million, although the company's net worth reduced by 23 per cent in 2009 to £301 million - primarily as a result of the recession and increased levels of borrowing.
