BT has announced plans to move to new office space in West Bromwich.
The Birmingham Post reported the company is to take on 75,000 sq ft of modern office design space at All Saints office development and could create up to 450 jobs in the region in the process.
The move forms part of BT's Transform Sandwell partnership which it is currently engaged in with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.
"It will be a strikingly modern 'green' office space for our staff and will also bring much needed economic activity to an important part of this area," commented Fred Lynch, chief executive officer of Transform Sandwell.
Elsewhere in the region, the former Jaguar site on Browns Lane in Coventry is to be transformed into a new mixed-use development by Goodman and Advantage West Midlands.
The development will incorporate 75,000 sq ft of new office space and is to be renamed Lyons Park after Sir William Lyons, who started the Swallow Sidecar Company, which became Jaguar after the Second World War.
