Business in Wales 'heats up with new office design'

An innovative business incubation centre in the Abercynon area of Wales is reaching its third phase of construction, according to reports.

The £2.4 million complex at Navigation Park will feature modern office design for a range of small-and-medium businesses within 19,000 sq ft of space.

Venture Wales has commissioned the project, which will eventually feature 60,000 sq ft of space and provide office interiors for 350 workers, the Western Mail reports.

The project will also feature innovative environmental design, including rainwater harvesting and geothermal heating with the intention of receiving the BREEAM "excellent" rating.

Philip Cooper, managing director of Venture Wales, stated that this project shows a commitment to regenerate the Abercynon area of Wales.

"The development will complement the existing facilities at Navigation Park which thanks to its superb location combined with the on-site business support and modern environment is fast becoming one of the most desirable business development locations in Wales," he said.
