Urban regeneration business Muse Developments has let office interior space to two companies in Salford Quays.

Morgan Sindall and Reeds Rains have taken 1,000 and 12,500 sq ft of office space respectively at Anchorage Quay.

"Whilst the market remains extremely challenging, we believe the advent of MediaCity - and the proximity of Anchorage to this new destination - will present real opportunities for us," development surveyor at Muse Development Wes Erlam commented.

He argued that this influx of demand for Manchester office space could result in more lettings for the area in the future, due to "competitive rates" and further office space being available in Anchorage buildings 1 and 2.

Elsewhere, consultant surveyors Scanlans recently announced a move to new office space in Manchester city centre.

The firm has relocated the short distance next door from its former premises - from 73 to 75 Mosley Street.
