02-12-2008
Calthorpe Estates has been given the go-ahead to construct a new office in the West Midlands, it has been revealed. The developer has been granted planning permission to build the office layout, which will be located on the corner of Islington Row Middleway, one of the main routes into Birmingham.
Worth over £4.5 million, there will be an office layout of more than 15,000 sq ft set across five floors at the building on 54 George Road, while retail space will occupy the ground floor.
Commenting on the office design, Ralph Minott, of Calthorpe Estates, claimed that the facilitys glass-fronted appearance will help make the building a memorable landmark for the city.
He added that the development is in a good location and benefits from excellent transport links.
Last month, CAN Mezzanine, a serviced office provider for charities, revealed it is to launch a third centre in London, providing some 36,000 sq ft in office interiors for the third sector.
