The developer behind the new £290 million Leadenhall office tower in London is unhappy with the properties nickname - the Cheesegrater.
Head of British Land Chris Grigg has said that the unusual design of the office building should be celebrated and the nickname actually takes away from the property's grandeur.
Mr Grigg commented: "We're not massive fans. We think it will be a stunning piece of British architecture, so to call it a 'Cheesegrater' is very disappointing."
Other buildings in London that have unusual colloquial nicknames include the Gherkin and the nearby Walkie Talkie Tower - that is presently under construction on Fenchurch Street.
Meanwhile, accountancy business KPMG recently opened its new London headquarters at 15 Canada Square in Canary Wharf.
Her Majesty the Queen was on hand to officially open the new 15-storey premises that will be the new home for 4,000 members of staff at the company.
