Workers at Cheshire West and Cheshire council are to benefit from the refurbishment of their main office interiors at County Hall in Chester.
The Chester Chronicle has reported that the 1930s building is to undergo a dramatic overhaul to create a modern office environment for council employees.
A range of new spacious office interiors have been designed and will be situated in the building to benefit from views of the River Dee.
Council chief executive Steve Robinson told the newspaper: "I have asked all Cheshire West and Chester managers to move out of their individual offices and to relocate alongside their staff where this is possible."
Meanwhile, Forsyth House in Walton on Thames is also undergoing a dramatic office refurbishment.
The £1.5 million project is being carried out to create more than 8,000 sq ft of new, grade A office interior space, office industry news source Choregus has reported.
