Chiltern to open new Lisbon office

UK-based firm Chiltern is set to launch a new office in Lisbon, it has emerged.

Moves by the contract research organisation will see it open a new office layout in the Portuguese capital to help support its continuing clinical studies in the country.

He said: "The conditions were right for us to open this new office.

"In the past two years, we have seen rising interest in the region and increased demand for full clinical operations support in Portugal."

Commenting on the office fit out news, Lewis Cameron, executive vice-president Europe for Chiltern, reported that rapid patient enrolment and the low numbers of competitive trials "add to the overall benefit of running clinical studies" in the country.

The new office layout will be headed by Ricardo Diaz, Chiltern's Portuguese country manager.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Orange Business Solutions-Trading Solutions is to take-up new office interiors near to the Spanish capital city of Madrid.
