Citibase to open Birmingham office interiors

Serviced office interior supplier Citibase has announced plans to open a number of new ventures in Birmingham.
The firm was advised by Richard Huges of Savills and as a result has taken on an additional two floors of modern office design space in what he described as a "highly desirable location, close to Colmore business district".
Mr Huges added that at present, Birmingham is the most in demand city for office interior space uptake outside of London in the UK.
Research recently carried out by Officebroker.com also backed up his claims by showing that during the second quarter of this year, demand for modern office design space in the city has grown considerably in comparison to the first three months of the year and last year as well.
It also showed that present demand is actually higher than Q2 2008, a period which was prior to the economic downturn in the UK.
