Cobham completes Hampshire office deal

Global aerospace and defence developer Cobham has completed an office relocation of its staff to new premises in Hampshire.
The firm has taken on 43,000 sq ft of grade A office interior space at the Fusion development at Solent Business Park.
Offering 150,000 sq ft of office space in total, the deal is one of the largest in the area during the last 18 months and was brokered by Lambert Smith Hampton. Cobham have signed a ten-year lease at the premises with rental costs of £18.25 per sq ft agreed.
Paul McCarter, general manager for surveillance at Cobham Tactical Communications & Surveillance, said: "The Fusion site was chosen for its modern, open plan environment which is designed to the latest environmental standards. Integrating our sites will help to strengthen, standardise and streamline our operations."
Elsewhere, The British Horse Society recently announced it has moved to a new headquarters in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
