Columbus Quay gets office refurb

A "top-to-toe" office refurbishment is being carried out at Columbus Quay in Liverpool.

The project is costing £50,000 and is creating a contemporary new look for the property, featuring a new colour scheme, carpets and light fittings.

Columbus Quay is situated on Sefton Street and has views across the River Mersey. Overall, the first and second floors each offer approximately 2,000 sq ft of office space and feature suspended ceilings and 24-hour security for tenants.

Agents for the development are Hitchcock Wright & Partners, and office space across the two floors available to let separately or in a single deal.

Brian Ricketts, a partner at the firm, said: "This is a truly spectacular scheme which offers a perfect and impressive working environment in terms of quality, price and location."

He added that the refurbishment work is now nearly complete and prospective tenants can book viewings.

UK motor insurance provider Admiral also recently announced plans it will be moving into new headquarters at a new 11-storey premises between the St David's centre and Cardiff International Arena.
