Construction work on Speedo International's new modern office design headquarters got underway last Friday (December 4th).

The company is creating its new premises at the Ng2 business park in Nottingham, where in total, 43,000 sq ft of modern office design space is to be constructed.

Plans for the office interior building have been forecast to achieve a BREEAM rating of Excellent when fully completed.

David Robinson, president of Speedo International, said: "The new advanced facilities will enhance the work of the Aqualab Research and Development Centre, meaning the world's best and most technically advanced swimwear continues to be developed here, in Nottingham."

Elsewhere, Property Week recently reported multinational manufacturing firm Procter & Gamble recently sold its UK headquarters to a US investment business for what is believed to be a sum of £30.5 million.

The premises in Weymouth contained 109,290 sq ft of grade A office interior space and were purchased by Gatehopuse Bank.
