Credit Suisse chooses location for new Manchester office layout

Credit Suisse has selected the location for an office layout in Manchester, it has been revealed.

Moves by the firm have seen it take up some 2,287 sq ft of office space at 82 King Street in the centre of the north-west city.

A sub-let on the 9th floor from Lloyds TSB, the value of the lease was not disclosed.

John Ogden, director at CBRE, which advised Credit Suisse, said: "King Street is a fantastic location for Credit Suisse to position themselves.”

He added that the street is a “main artery” throughout Manchester and is both at the heart of the city’s central businesses district and close to its general amenities.

It is the first time that Credit Suisse will have an office layout in the city.

In other news, it was recently revealed that a 20,000 sq ft office layout will be at the heart of a £80 million mixed-use development in Bury, Greater Manchester.
