Croydon office refurbishment completed

A £3 million office refurbishment has been completed in Croydon at the former home of the Land Registry Office, Sunley House.

Princeton Investments is to put the building up for sale following its redevelopment and expects to get a rental income of £21.50 per sq ft every year for the office space, Thisiscroydontoday.co.uk has reported.

The seven-storey building contains almost 64,500 sq ft of office interiors and is set out in a modern open-plan design to attract new businesses to the area.

Andrew Willcock, of Savills, told the website: "[Croydon] remains the largest commercial centre in the south of England outside Central London and Sunley House looks set to be popular with potential occupiers as the only office building of its size available in the area."

In other news, it was recently claimed in a study carried out by Research and Markets that the set up of an office can dramatically affect worker production with open-plan design believed to increase worker interactivity, happiness and productivity.
