Croydon has been given a boost after it was revealed that major firms will be renewing their leases at the town's office developments.
Surrey Comet reported that a number of businesses including Royal Sun Alliance, Network Rail and Mott MacDonald will be keeping their office design at buildings across the borough.
They have decided to renew their leases over the last 15 months, amounting to an area of one million square feet of space.
This news comes as Croydon Council revealed it is looking at further regeneration plans to the town centre, including a £500 million commercial project.
Some developments are already underway and chief executive of the local authority Jon Rouse said the projects are "ambitious" and are aimed at the market when he spoke at the MIPIM development conference recently.
Office space in Loughborough has also proven popular recently after Simon Jackson, Charnwood Borough Council's strategic director for corporate services, revealed that all six units of the town's Old Magistrates' Court have been filled, inloughborough.com reported.
