New office space for Cutting & Wear Resistant Developments is expected to improve company performance and create 10 new jobs.
The oil drilling equipment company has relocated its headquarters to a £5m manufacturing and offices complex at the Smithy Wood Business Park.
The new HQ, near Sheffield, allows for future space planning as they are big enough for expansion in both the manufacturing and office areas.
Cutting & Wear is already very successful with a £8.2m turnover, 67 employees and exports that go as far as 50 countries worldwide. But Mark Russell, managing director of the company, expects it will flourish even more in the new venue.
He said: "This relocation to state-of-the-art premises is central to our move to develop a world-class, technology-based engineering business as global demand for oil and gas continues to outstrip supply.
"As well as improving efficiencies across the company and reducing our carbon footprint, our new headquarters will help re-enforce the quality of the Cutting & Wear brand in oil and gas drilling locations worldwide.
"This is a major investment for the company which sets our course for years ahead."
