EasyJet founder to open Liverpool easyOffice

EasyJet founder Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has announced a new easyOffice is opening in Liverpool.

The easyOffice brand was launched approximately 18 months ago and provides contemporary office design surroundings for companies to work in.

A no-frills approach is the basis of the easyOffice brand and as such, occupiers are given the option of space-only rentals or further optional extras, such as secretarial support.
EasyOffice chief executive Mark Smith said: "When carrying out market research, we found that many people in the area could benefit from serviced, low-cost office space."

Meanwhile, television broadcaster BSkyB recently unveiled plans for its new office and studio complex in London which will make use of the most up to date sustainable design strategies to deliver 35 per cent energy reduction once completed.

The £233 million project will employ 80ft-tall chimneys to drive turbines which will provide 90 per cent of the power required for lighting in the building and also deliver natural ventilation.
