Electrical engineering group Engenda has completed the purchase of Lincolnshire-based Lectec Services and is now in the process of searching for a new headquarters.
The company has a turnover of approximately £11 million and its clients include firms such as Siemens, Alstom and Lindsey Oil. It was advised on the purchase by Baker Tilly and now hopes to set up a new modern office design headquarters in the north-west.
Graham Garner-Jones, partner at Baker Tilly, said: "This acquisition marks a step change in the development of Engenda and is an important platform for future growth."
Engenda is a recently launched firm that is owned by Les O'Hare - former owners of O'Hare Engineering. Mr O'Hare sold his original business to a German buyer in 2007 for £30 million.
He now plans to build up Engenda in the same way he did his former company.
