IT consultancy Entrust has become the latest company to take advantage of the Hello Northwest scheme to take on office interior space in the region.
The firm has signed a lease for office space at the Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus in Cheshire and has become the 18th overseas company to settle in the area since the initiative was launched.
Hello Northwest was set up by the Northwest Regional Development Agency, MIDAS and The Mersey Partnership. It allows companies to move into new premises rent-free for the first 12 months and has been a popular scheme for boosting office uptake in the region over recent months.
Elsewhere in the region, broadcast company ITV recently announced it is relocating its offices to Salford's MediaCityUK development.
Set on a 7.7-acre lot at the site, the television producer will move to the new premises in 2012 and is set to build a bespoke production studio for its Coronation Street programme.
