Media production firm Falling Pixel has announced it is opening a new office in Manchester.
Crain's Manchester Business reported the London-based firm has taken on modern office design space at Anvic Developments' Piccadilly House.
At present, the company already operates out of offices in London and Colwyn Bay, but felt the opening of a new office in Manchester would help strengthen its position as one of the UK's leading 3D content providers.
"It's a place we're looking forward to establishing ourselves in and with new developments such as MediaCityUK happening in and around Manchester, it's a great time to be locating here," commented Falling Pixel chief operating officer Richard Mairs.
Elsewhere in the city, Marks & Spencer (M&S) recently announced plans to move into 21,000 sq ft of office space at Spinningfields. The company has signed a 15-year lease for 3 Hardman Street and plans to move from its present headquarters in Salford Quays.
Michael Ingall, chief executive of Spinningfields' owner Allied London, said M&S had been on the lookout for prime office space for some time.
