First phase construction at the White Rock Business Park in Torbay, Devon has been completed.

The South Devon Herald has reported that the development has so far cost £7 million to reach this stage and currently offers 40,000 sq m of office interior space for rent on the 40-acre site.

Businesses are already showing interest in the park, which once filled could bring up to 2,000 new jobs to the area.

Mark Tyrrell, of Abacus Projects, said: "We are delighted that we have got the park to this first key stage in delivering what we believe will be a very important employment generator for Torbay."

In related news, LDP Business recently reported that commercial property developer Bruntwood has finished work on its newest office interior development in Bootle.

Located on Stanley Road, in Bootle town centre, the St Hugh's complex offers 48,000 sq ft of rented accommodation spread over six floors.
