Forward funding for the design and build of the Mann Island office scheme in Liverpool has been secured.
CommerzReal has agreed to fund the project which, when completed, will provide the base for the office relocation of the Merseyside Integrated Transport Authority.
The office design is the final part of an ongoing project for the regeneration of Mann Island.
Such a deal indicates that Liverpool is firmly on the property investment map, claims managing director of Neptune Developments Steve Parry. Neptune is partnering Countryside properties on the project.
Head of acquisitions at CommerzReal Hans-Joachim Kuehl said: "We have a long track record of development in the UK and are delighted to again be able to forward fund such a quality scheme."
He added that the finished project is likely to "look great".
Mann Island, situated between Albert Dock and Pier head, is home to a World Heritage Site and will also feature the new Liverpool museum.
