The Ark in Hammersmith, London is set to become the new home of GE after the building's owners signed a letting agreement with the company.
GE is set to consolidate its staffing the capital by moving into 100,000 sq ft of modern office design space at the premises.
The deal was brokered by property agents Knight Frank and CB Richard Ellis, with a final agreement being reached just after the festive period.
"We're delighted GE is taking advantage of the Ark's superb office accommodation, facilities and location in addition to the benefits of consolidating GE's London businesses," commented Ilaria del Beato, managing director for GE Capital Real Estate UK.
Elsewhere in the capital, Heron Tower in the City of London has been awarded a BREEAM rating of Excellent.
The property is due for completion in the first quarter of next year and, when finished, will provide in excess of 46,000 sq ft of office space over 46 storeys.
