Property developer Goodman has announced plans for the construction of a new mixed-use complex at Andover Commercial Park in Hampshire.
The firm will oversee the development of 468,000 sq ft of modern office design, industrial and distribution space at the site, with the Co-operative Group already signing a 20-year lease for the premises once it is finished.
Goodman's Group chief executive officer Greg Goodman said: "This significant development is one of the largest pre-let transactions to be announced in the UK over the last 12 months and we are pleased to be undertaking it on behalf of the Co-operative Group."
He added that there is now renewed customer interest in a wide range of the firm's developments across the UK.
The group is an international owner and developer of commercial property. It presently has total assets under management of £9.1 billion and operates 331 business properties.
It currently operates 32 offices spread over 16 countries.
