Google is considering moving into office space in London.
The search engine giant is mulling over the new King's Cross business district development, which it could rent part of and purchase the rest for around £200 million, reports the Daily Telegraph.
According to the news provider, Joe Borrett, Google's head of construction and real estate for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, recently attended a meeting with the developer of the office space in London.
"A deal with Google would be a boost for the eight million sq ft mixed-use King's Cross development, which is located next door to the rail station," it noted.
Google currently occupies office space in London close to Victoria station, but is looking for a more long-term home in the city.
As well as its market-leading search engine, Google also owns video streaming website YouTube, online advertising company DoubleClick and price comparison site BeatThatQuote.com among others.
