Green investment commitment 'is vital'
Office design news from Morgan Lovell

The government must be committed to make green investments in order to achieve its aims of carbon reduction over the coming years, it has been stated.
Kevin Wellman, operations director at the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, said companies and the public have become more comfortable with the idea of tackling climate change through sustainable office design and other measures in recent years, but the government must continue to push this agenda if it hopes of meeting its goals.
He commented: "Fortunately, nowadays people are becoming more familiar and more comfortable with discussions about carbon footprint. The whole ethos of carbon saving is not something which is off-putting to many people nowadays."
According to a new report by the Confederation of British Industry, the UK is failing to attract the level of investment needed to build low-carbon infrastructure.
Indeed, this is an issue that must be addressed if the government does not wish to renege on its green commitments.
