Green light given for Manchester office refit

13-05-2008

Green light given for Manchester office refit Permission has been given for an office refit in Manchester, it has been revealed.

Located in the Northern Quarter area of the city, the development consists of the Grade 2 listed 3 China Lane and 56-58 Dale Street buildings which are based within the Stevenson Square conservation area.

The development is to provide a total office interior of 60,000 sq ft.

Set to be known as the Turquoise Buildings due to the distinctive colour of the facility, Choregus reports that the office layout will incorporate meeting rooms, conference space and administrative support areas.

Furthermore, the publication suggested that given that "the Northern Quarter is an area that is frequented by art and design type businesses", occupants of the new office space may transform the facility into one of the "most inventive serviced office buildings in the country".

The development is owned by Avanta, who provide business centres throughout the country.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that construction on City Park - a 13-storey office layout in Manchester's Green Quarter - had begun.ADNFCR-8000187-ID-18591064-ADNFCR
