Green office design: 'Do you need it?'
Office design news from Morgan Lovell

One of the most important questions a firm should ask when undertaking a sustainable office refurbishment is 'do we need it?'
Earth911.com has reported that businesses looking to make their premises more ecologically sustainable must consider what features an office truly requires and whether adding design for design's sake is fitting with a firm's overall environmental plan.
The website noted that cutting back on office clutter and furnishing can help promote sustainability, as well as keeping set up and maintenance costs down for a business.
Furthermore, electronic equipment should be set up to move into low-power modes when not in use and any old equipment should be recycled rather than simply thrown away.
In related news, sustainable office design company Morgan Lovell has confirmed its attendance at this year's Epsom Energy Management Seminar taking place on March 10th.
Sustainability manager Lara Conaway is scheduled to deliver a presentation on her experiences and insights gained during the design of the company's award-winning London office.
