Architect firm PCPT is to develop a number of new buildings in the heart of Birmingham, it has been revealed.Newbuilder.co.uk has reported that the venture will see the construction of a 13-storey apartment and office interior and will draw on green technologies to make it more sustainable and future-proof.
The building will contain sustainable features such as sun pipes to lobbies, wind-powered ventilation, rainwater recycling, solar panels and heat transfer technology.
David Mahony, architect and director of PCPT, commented: "We've had this kind of development in mind for some time but now it is particularly appropriate that we can start to pioneer this sort of development in Birmingham, setting the trend for others to follow."
