Greenwich Peninsula property 14 Pier Walk has achieved a BREEAM rating of Excellent and has also been placed on the market by its owner for £96 million.
The property encompasses 192,252 sq ft of modern office design space and is presently let on a long-term lease to Transport for London - which pays an annual rent of £5.8 million per year.
Situated 20 minutes' walk from London's West End, the building achieved a BREEAM score of 76.11 per cent - making it one of the most environmentally-friendly properties in the UK.
Office agent Savills has been appointed to manage the sale of the seven-storey property.
Sustainable features of the property include bore holes to aid water cooling and heating, rainwater harvesting, green roofs, intelligent-controlled glazing and lighting controls, as well as a 41 per cent reduction in the building's carbon footprint in comparison to its levels prior to its refurb in 2009.
